In March 2010 Nalubale Raftings Head Guide Reuben Connolly led the first commercial
rafting expedition from the Owen Falls Dam in Jinja to Karuma Falls on the edge of
Murchison Falls National Park -
The 8 day journey saw the expedition members paddle and row through challenging grade 5 white water, across the immense Lake Kyoga and into vast papyrus swamps.
The days were filled with rafting, fishing, rowing, amazing sceneries, bush camping and bon fires. It was a tired, but very happy crew that made it back to Kampala. The documentary from the trip is now available on YouTube. Click to see part I and part II.
The crew at Nalubale Rafting is planning similar trips for 2011.
Our expeditions are a unique opportunity to experience incredible African outdoor adventures. Contact Thomas for more information and for reservations.
